General Questions

We have two types of financing programs: the Revenue Advance and the Small Business Loan.

Your business must be up-and-running for at least six months and generate $20,000 per month in gross sales.

At present, we can loan up to $1.5 million.

In general, a firm can qualify for 75 percent to 125 percent of its monthly gross sales. However, the percentage you receive will be based on your business's particular revenue and other details.

We usually fund in between 24 to 48 hours.

We save you time and anxiety. Samlend Financial can provide funding needs in 24 to 48 hours after approval, as compared to a conventional bank's vetting process, which can take as long as three months. No. Receiving funding from us will not build your business credit. However, fulfilling your advance or loan terms is the first step on the path of getting additional funds from us in the future.

No. To work with us, you must be seeking funds for a business you currently own.

Yes. We can underwrite and generate separate offers for each entity, provided each meets our financing requirements.

Yes. We can do this if they're under the same EIN.

No. Our underwriting team will qualify your business based on the health of your business. You can use the money for business expenses as you see fit.

Yes, Samlend Financial is a direct lender of working capital. Our consultants are our employees, and the capital provider (us) is the same name you'll see on your contract papers. There are a few ways that you can determine if a company you are working with is a direct lender.

  • If the consultant you're working with works directly for the company supplying capital to your business.
  • If the name of the capital provider on the application you receive is the same as the name on the contracts.
  • Your personal credit should only be pulled once when working with a direct lender. If you are not working with a direct lender, they may send your company's information to several direct funding companies, who all may pull your credit.

Applying For Funds

You can fill out our one-page e-sign application. Then, you'll need to provide your business's last three bank statements. For Working Capital, please download and fill out the application.

Yes, we require your social security number to run a soft credit check during the application process. This will not show up on your credit report or affect your credit score.

When you apply, we'll do a soft check, that doesn't appear on your credit report or affect your credit score. At funding, we'll do a full credit check.

Bad credit won't necessarily disqualify you from obtaining financing with us. We see you as a business owner, not just credit score. That said, we consider the health of your business in our funding decisions.

Our Revenue Advance product is payable at the pace of your business revenue since it's essentially a purchase of your future receivables. Our Small Business Loan payback periods range from four to 18 months. Click here to learn more about our specific programs and terms for payback.

Our rates range from 15 to 40 cents on the dollar. Early payback provisions can reduce your rate to as little as 10 cents on the dollar.

No. We issue this loan as a lump-sum cash disbursement, provided in a single deposit. Spend it as your business needs it.

We reserve the right to file a UCC, but this is based on circumstances during the life of the agreement (i.e., breaching the agreement, stacking loans, or shopping your file to other funders without informing us). We also reserve the right to file if you stop paying back on the loan, if your checking account is frozen or closed, or if you've bounced three consecutive payments.

No. What's more, depending on your pre-approved offer, you may be eligible for prepayment discounts.

Our one-time processing fee can be as low as 2.5 percent. We'll also assess a one-time wire-transfer fee. That's it.

Your Revenue Advance deals or Business Loan Deals go towards your lump sum payback. Business Loans: Lump sum=Amount Borrowed + Interest + Fees. Revenue Advance: Lump Sum+ Disbursement Amount + Purchased Percentage + Fees.

We terminate a UCC when the agreement reaches a zero balance, is satisfied in full, and all pending debits have cleared.

Call customer service or your solutions consultant to arrange for one or more additional payments.

Making Changes To Your Account

Requesting Additional Funds

We have a very simple and fast process to receive additional funds. Our Relationship Management team will service your additional funding needs and they will reach out to you once you are eligible for additional capital. Please note: We prefer that you are at least 60% paid into your small business loan program or have satisfied 60% of your revenue advance obligations with us before we consider your business for additional financing.

Our Renewal Underwriting Department can review your business's most recent months of revenue, emerging trends, and other factors before it offers you another round. This process could, depending on these factors and your payment history, lead to better terms.

We require your three most recent business banking statements. Depending on the amount of working capital we are providing to your business, we may also need to see your most recent profit and loss Statement, balance sheet and most recent business tax return.

Debt consolidators, also known as debt settlement companies, promise to reduce your debt obligations in exchange for a fee. However, if you engage with them, you may lose control over company funds and will likely be directed to default on your obligations to your creditors, leading to collection proceedings and litigation.

No. Following the directions of such companies will breach your agreement with Samlend Financial, and other creditors, and may lead to legal repercussions. Despite any claims debt consolidators might make, Samlend Financial does not work directly with companies like them. We directly assist our clients, offering programs designed to provide temporary relief and help our customers navigate repayment challenges.

Once engaged, a debt consolidator will likely direct you to turn over your business funds to them or a third-party working on their behalf. This will result in a loss of control of your money, and it may be difficult to retrieve any amounts turned over.

During this stressful time, the debt consolidator will become another financial mouth to feed, and because they will control your business funds, they will ensure that they received their fee.

As a result, you will be restricted from settling your credit obligations in the manner you feel most prudent. The debt consolidator might prioritize settling smaller balances first to collect commissions and receive further commitments from you, and will leave your business with insufficient funds to address larger debts. This can trap your business in a cycle of financial instability, hindering your ability to pay creditors and operate effectively.

Stacking

Stacking — the practice of taking out additional funding while already working with Samlend Financial — constitutes a violation of your financing agreement. This is the case regardless of what a broker may tell you.

Stacking refers to the practice of obtaining additional financing while already having existing financing with Samlend Financial or another funder.

Stacking is a breach of contract because when Samlend Financial extends funding to your business, it is based on careful assessment of your financial situation, including your monthly revenue, business history, and other expenses. Stacking undermines this assessment and can lead to financial strain for your business and your business's ability to meet your obligation with Samlend Financial. By accumulating debt from different financial institutions simultaneously, your business may struggle to meet repayment obligations, leading to cash flow shortages, increased finance charges, and potential defaults.

As a result, as set forth in your agreement, your financing with Samlend Financial requires no significant alterations to your business or its finances during our relationship, stacking included.

When we extend funding to your business, we consider your business history, revenue, expenses, and bank statements. This is so your business has the opportunity to manage its remittances or payments to Samlend Financial and you are not overwhelmed with your ability to repay — allowing you to focus on the day-to-day of your business.

Escalating Finance Charges: Each stack will have higher proportional finance charges and a shorter payback period. This significantly increases the costs of and financial strain on your business, reducing its profitability and potentially viability.

Cash Flow Constriction: Stacking financing can strain your business's cash flow, as it must allocate more funds towards servicing these multiple obligations, leading to difficulties in payment for payroll or suppliers.

Overleveraging: By accumulating multiple financings, businesses may become overleveraged and have more debt obligations than they can reasonably manage.

Default & Litigation: If a business is unable to keep up with all its obligations, it will face default and likely litigation by one or all of the funders.
